This is a review of a selection of adapters and accessories from Light Painting Accessories, run by light painters Mark Cox (Northern Ireland) and Cor Dielemans (Netherlands). Light Painting Accessories has filled in many gaps in the market, by selling 3D printed adapters that connect between popular torch/flashlights and various light painting systems. Accessories include 3D printed Coloured Tips for various light painting systems, and T8 Tube Sleeves.
Disclaimer
These adapters and accessories were sent to me for an honest and impartial review. These are only a selection of the full range of items available from Light Painting Accessories.

Adapters
Light Painting Accessories make torch/flashlight to light painting system adapters which include (but are not exclusive to):
Light Painting Paradise LightPainter Ryu's Lightworks V2 to Luminosify Choobs.
Light Painting Paradise LightPainter Ryu's Lightworks V2 to Light Painting Brushes.
Light Painting Paradise LightPainter Ryu's Lightworks V2 to Light Painting Paradise / generic 20mm diameter tubes.
Light Light Painting Paradise LightPainter Ryu's Lightworks V2 to Light Painting Paradise Blades.
Light Painting Paradise LightPainter Ryu's Lightworks V1 to Luminosify Choobs.
Light Painting Paradise LightPainter Ryu's Lightworks V1 to Light Painting Brushes.
Ants on a Melon RGB Critter (all versions) to Luminosify Choobs.
Ants on a Melon RGB Critter (all versions) to Light Painting Brushes.
Ants on a Melon RGB Critter (all versions) to Light Painting Paradise / generic 20mm diameter tubes.
These are all 3D printed, with relatively hard texture, resulting in tight tolerances (compared to the softer Light Painting Paradise All In One adapter). They all worked well and were fairly stable. I have found from previous experience that any loose tolerances with 3D printed adapters can be easily fixed with a layer of electrical tape around the torch head or tube. The Ryu's V2 adapters were also compatible with the Noctigon KR4. The Ryu's V1 adapters were also compatible with the Sofirn SP31 V2.0. Some care is required with the screw threads when using the RGB Critter adapters, but careful use should result in a decent accessory lifespan.
Having more connectivity between light painting systems is incredibly useful to the light painting community. The Light Painting Accessories range allows for previously unavailable connectivity including the Ryu's V2 (with accessible side switch) and RGB Critter to Luminosify Choobs. It also provides more stable options than alternatives for connectivity between the Ryu's V2 to Light Painting Brushes, and RGB Critter to Light Painting Paradise / generic 20mm diameter tubes.
Some of the products have alternatives such as Light Painting Paradise All In One Adapter, and Ants on a Melon RGB Critter to LPB Connector. In these cases you may need to consider costs and shipping to your locality.

Accessories
Light Painting Accessories also make a large number of accessories. These include (but are not exclusive to):
Coloured tips for Light Painting Paradise Plexi Rods and Plexi Tubes or Rods; generic 20mm diameter acrylic tubes; Luminosify Choobs; Light Painting Brushes Collapsible Swords, and T5 Tubes.
Luminosify Choob to Sparker.
Luminosify Choob to Fountain Sparkler.
Coloured Sleeves for Luminosify Choobs.
Calligraphy Tubes.
The range of accessories is very useful. I particularly like the Coloured Tips. These are available in an impressive range of colours, and in different sizes for compatibility with many light painting systems. I tested two sizes, the largest compatible with Luminosify Choobs, and a smaller size compatible with Light Painting Paradise Plexi Rods and Plexi Tubes, plus generic 20mm diameter acrylic tubes. They create different coloured light trails at the end of the tool. I advise using colour theory for the best colour selection to match the main tool.

The T8 Tube Sleeves are compatible with Luminosify Choobs. They can be opened slightly and slid down the tube to the desired location. There are 2 different types, each with 6 different slot patterns, which result in different light trail effects as the tube is rotated. One has larger slots than the other. They are also available in a wide range of colours. The coloured Sleeves will work better with white or pastel coloured T8 tubes. These Sleeves work better if the light trail is within a few metres of the camera.

Conclusion
The reviewed products from Light Painting Accessories fill in many gaps in the market, including improving flashlight/torch to light painting system compatibility, coloured tips for a range of light painting tools, and adding effects to T8 tube light trails. Light Painting Accessories offer more tools and accessories in addition to those discussed in this article. With the added creative potential, I'm sure that I will be sharing plenty of photos created using these accessories on my social media during 2025.
